2,500 Trees by Spring

Working with six local schools and the parish council, we're planting 2,500 native trees — oak, hazel, rowan and silver birch — along three kilometres of the valley corridor. Every tree is mapped, mulched and cared for by a named volunteer guardian for its first two winters.

600 saplings in the ground

A brilliant Saturday — 82 volunteers and a lot of tea. The eastern bank is now fully planted.

Sapling delivery arrived

Our nursery partner delivered 900 bare-root saplings. Storage kindly donated by the cricket club.
